Doctor's Call

These past few weeks have been a crazy one for sure. Last week, I spent quite a bit of time at MacKay Dee getting some medical tests completed that my cardiologist had recommended. I had a TEE on Monday, then they called and said to come in for an MRI/ MRA on Thursday.
On Monday...I received a call from his office staff saying that he needed to speak with me. Right at that moment...you aren't sure what he is going to hit you with. He explained that I have a couple problems going on such as pulmonary stenosis and also an aneurysm on my lung. He said it was unusual and that I need to be referred to some Congenital Heart Specialists. It is amazing all the thoughts that go through your mind. I have looked into it and now understand a little more. I will be fine. I am just ready to get the show on the road and get everything fixed. I have a appointment with the specialists in 2 weeks.
I am definately grateful for priesthood blessings that can bring you peace of mind when all you feel is fear. It just seems like the last few months have been really disappointing and emotional.
I just have to keep remembering that everything happens for a reason & just count the blessings that I do have. Jeremy is always a great support and very understanding, I am glad we have each other.

  5. Yeah, everything happens for a reason, but sometimes it just downright STINKS! But it is nice to know that you have the blessing of the priesthood in your home when it just gets too tough to bear alone! Please know that we all love and care about you very much and would do anything we can to help you out! Good luck and keep us posted!

  6. We love you, too, Mandy, and pray all goes well for you. It's so wonderful to live in the time of medical miracles--operations that would not have been an option in the past. Of course, all happens according to God's timing, not ours. He loves you, and will bless you two, I know. Keep us posted. Love, Kyle & Lorena
